October 2011!
October was FUN! We went to Wheeler Farm with Jason and Sadie, made Halloween cookies, went to Grandma Rogers’ and went on a costume bike ride! The kiddos has so much fun getting the house decorated for Halloween, dressing up and of course, trick-or-treating ! Daysha was a little pro but this was the first year for Destry, it took a couple houses was all and once he realized candy was being deposited into his little pumpkin, he was right there with Sadie and Daysha most the time! Sadie was a little trooper taking these little ones with her up to the door and occasionally getting a piece of candy for Destry when his little legs slowed down or when he was too busy taking inventory and opening a piece of candy! Lots of fun this year – luckily at this age, we can take all the candy away the day after and they don’t know the difference! Not sure how many years that will last, probably not too many so I’ll take advantage while I can! Zane and I dressed up too this year, kiddos didn’t know what to think but got used to it soon after they saw us! Happy Halloween!!
September 2011!
September is such a special month to us for many reasons but first because our first baby was born 3 years ago this month, 3 years – where did they go?!!! Happy Birthday to our special girl, Daysha! We were so thankful to be able to take a week and go to Idaho to see Zane’s Dad and Chris! It’s always such a good time; it’s peaceful, relaxing, recharging and much more! We always have such a wonderful time there and now that the kiddos are getting a bit older, they are able to enjoy it more and loving it! We were able to celebrate Daysha’s birthday with Papa Deryl and Grandma Kiss! We went to Zane’s Aunt Sandy’s house and she was so sweet to host a little party for Daysha with balloons, décor, party favors and everything, it was perfect! Deryl and Chris got Daysha a cake from a local bakery in town and it was adorable and tasty! Daysha had a super fun time playing with all the kiddos! Thanks to everyone for such a wonderful birthday! The rest of our trip at Papa Deryl’s was great, we rode “motor bicycles,” daily which Destry loved, he was in little boy heaven and could have sat on the motorcycles contently all day, every day! We seriously have a little dirt biker on our hands, he’s obsessed! I think its adorable now! Not sure how I’ll feel in a few years when he wants to be a crazy boy on a dirt bike!! We took a day trip to Elk River and fished, kayaked, ate lunch and played in the water, it was so fun! Can’t wait until we return again!
