More June Pics!

June 2011

Happy Birthday to Zane and Happy 3rd Anniversary to us!! June is such an amazing month, I love the beginning of the summer and the feel it has. Zane got the backyard all cleaned up and the swing hung, ready for a summer of fun! We bought the kiddos a little battery operated truck which Zane had a good time customizing with switches, mirrors, etc. Daysha's is a surprisingly good driver and Destry tries so hard but those little legs only let him push the gas without seeing over the windshield - doesn't stop him though, I have to run next to the truck to make sure he doesn't crash! Zane's birthday was the 22nd so we had a little party for him with a few close friends, the kids had a good time celebrating with everyone! We went to the antique power show in Wallsburg Utah with my parents at the end of the month, pulled our trailers and camped for the weekend, it was alot of fun! Dick Erickson is the owner of the property and he has acres of antiques including airplanes, Indian (among many others) motorcycles, tractors, motors, train engines, you name it, it's quite the collection. He has a neighbor he hired to do wagon rides with his mule and wagon. The kiddos had a great time running around the place and camping with Grandma and Grandpa Rogers!

May 2011

Ah the promise of spring, warmer weather, beautiful flowers and trees, warms the soul after a long, cold winter!! We were lucky to have Zane's best friend Randy come visit us, due to the late snowfall this season and a particularly large snow storm the night before they were able to go snowboarding which they said was "epic!" Daysha has a little crush on Randy and can't wait to see him again!

Zane's little budding artists along with their cousin Sadie had a great time painting pictures, themselves and everything else within a 10 foot radius! Thank goodness for washable paints, thank you crayola!!

We attempted our first camping trip this year which was amazing for the day we we were able to stay, the second day was raining buckets so we decided to pack up and go home! Our kids absolutely love to ride, as Daysha would say "motor bicycles!" We have a couple of future riders, love it!!!

We are so proud of my cousin Kaylie, she just graduated college as an RN and we went to Rock Springs, Wyoming to see her graduation! We had alot of fun, thanks so much Aunt Mary and Uncle Matt for showing us a great time and opening your home to us! Hope we can go back soon!

April 2011

We had so much fun in April, we had the opportunity to go the cabin of our good friend Brandon Butters, the kids love it up there. This year there was still quite a bit of snow so we played indoors, met some new friends and had a great time. Also, of course, was Easter. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Rogers house for brunch and an Easter egg hunt, so fun when we get the family together, all the kids had a blast running around in the backyard looking for eggs! Nana and Papa Caduto sent swimming suits which got us all excited for summer! Adorable suits and cover up monkey towel!!

March 2011

We took a fun little trip to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point, really neat interactive place for the kids, they have the largest sand/water table I've ever seen, it accommodates several kids at a time and was a favorite for all!

February 2011

It's always a little tough to find things to do in the winter time with the kids, luckily Daysha and Destry are very resourceful and find things to do on their own! This time it was eye shadow application, after her own application Daysha consulted Destry on his! Also a cute pic of Daysha in one of the adorable outfits she got from Nana and Papa Caduto at Christmas!

January 2011

Long time no bloggie!! I'm going to try to catch up with some fun pics by month, so since the last post was of Destry's birthday in December I'll start back in January! One of the highlights of this month was getting to see Auntie Jo! She was in Utah visiting a friend of hers and we were so excited she had a little time to stop by and meet our kids and visit with us!
