August 2011!

August was great! We went to Wheeler Farm with the cousins and spent a lot of time at Grandma and Grandpa Rogers’ house. Grandma spends a lot of time making the back yard beautiful and we enjoyed it! One particular day Spencer and Daysha were collecting apples that had fallen from the tree and putting them in buckets and then filled the buckets with water. They decided to strip down and sit in the buckets, turned out to be quite the entertaining August afternoon for all of us! Also, a major milestone - Daysha started preschool! She is loving it! They have an amazing playground and focus a lot on art and music both of which she loves! Her teacher is Miss Lisa and she likes having her as her teacher! Happy Summer!

July 2011!

July summer fun! We had so much fun in July this year! We went to see Brent and Shelly in Tabiona. We took our dirt bikes and got to ride around town a little bit, played in the sun, kiddos in the pool and on the school playground, it was so fun to get to go see them! We took a family day trip to East Canyon Reservoir, took the kayak and played in the water for the day! July this year was the annual Rogers’ family camping trip to Diamond Mountain. As always it was such a good time! Good food, so good to get to see Grandma Johnson and Aunts and Uncles, we missed Matt for this trip (although we did see him for a minute before we had to go) but hopefully next year we can have everyone there!! This year we got an extra special visit from Nana Caduto and almost all the cousins from Zane’s side of the family! We all had so much fun, Daysha and Destry had a lot of fun getting to play with the kids and seeing Nana! Destry made a new friend, Abraham, who he adores! They were here over the 4th of July so we got to do fireworks, went to the Cowabunga Bay water park for a day and played in the sun a lot! So glad they were able to come and visit!
