Potty Training!!

Daysha decided shortly after her second birthday that she was ready to use the potty! I wasn't so sure but her doctor said if she's ready, go with it - so actually, I'm the one being trained! She still isn't using the potty exclusively but most the time! I thought this was one of those milestones that happened and no more diapers, not so, it's a learning process that takes some time and a great amount of patience! I must say I'm proud of the initiative she's taken and the sense of humor she's brought along with it!!

November / Thanksgiving 2010!

This November took a while to get cold, we were able to play outside for a couple weeks, Destry loves the sandbox, it was nice! Then we got snow, which was also fun, we got to pull the kiddos around in the sled, they had a ball! We were so lucky to have Jason and Sadie come spend Thanksgiving with us this year, it was alot of fun cooking dinner for everyone (I had to call my mom for a few pointers but it turned out great!) We put our Christmas tree up the week before Thanksgiving this year so we could enjoy it during the holiday, a little early I know but the kids loved it!

Halloween 2010!

Halloween 2010!

This year was so much fun, we went to Grandma Rogers' house and had a little Halloween party with pumpkin mac and cheese, balloons and treats! Grandma gave all the kiddos a super cute puzzle book!! We also went with Jason and Sadie to the Wheeler Farm, went through a maze, took a tractor pulled wagon ride and got to take a pumpkin from the patch home! Personally I think Halloween is mostly for parent's amusement, I couldn't help but giggle at my cute little poo bee and later moo cow!
