It's a Boy!! Destry Zane Ketchum

We went to our ultrasound this last Thursday and found out we're having a boy - we are ecstatic! The little cutie (his name is already picked out - Destry Zane Ketchum) is healthy and looks great! We initially thought his due date was December 9th but may actually be a little later than that - the ultrasound estimated December 25th as the due date. Hopefully he'll arrive before then! It's amazing how much faster the time flies when you already have a child, he'll be here before we know it!

Annual Camping Trip to Flaming Gorge!

As usual, we had an amazing time. We went to Diamond Mountain near Flaming Gorge, Utah. It's is so beautiful there, one of those places that is heaven on earth. We've been going there to camp with my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins since I was less than a year old and it's a tradition I plan to continue until my kids can take their kids! We had lots of great food as ususal and tons of fun riding the 4 wheelers, etc.! The boys built a swing with Zane's air chair and Jason's climbing rope - they hung it over the power line poles (a little scarry but it worked) and it turned out to be so much fun - hours of fun in fact! We were a little bummed it wasn't constructed on the first day we were there instead of the last, but next year it will! Our little camper had a great time, she loves being outside and attached to her Dad! All is well in her world when she's in the front pack with him!

Swimming on the Back Porch and Auntie Jills!

We have a water baby - anytime, anywhere she's ready to swim! This summer has been so much fun with her, we've hit more pools in the last two months than in the last 10 years! That's the amazing thing about having children, it opens a whole new world of fun! It started on the back porch with this cute little pool Zane found, we filled it with warm water and she loved it! Then we moved to the splash pool at Auntie Jill's house which is adorable - it starts out at 0 inches and only goes to 12 I think but it's the perfect place to crawl around and have fun! And, she gets to play with her cute cousin Spencer whom she loves, they've become pretty good pals! We've been to several pools around our home and the regular pool at Jill's. Lots of fun and still a couple more months to play in the water!
